6/17/2009	"The Resurgence of Spring Grove Village – Successes and Challenges" Back in late 2007, the PNC Bank Charitable Trust Committee awarded $35,000 to the CDC Association to pilot the New Model project during 2008, to demonstrate what can be achieved in a community through providing consultant support to a small non-staffed CDC. Spring Grove Village/Winton Place Development Corporation was chosen for the pilot. Mark Brunner, consultant to Winton Place Development Corporation, and Patricia Garry will discuss the project, its challenges, outcomes and goals for this second year.
7/9/2009	"Downpayment and Lending Options" The many downpayment and financing options available are changing all the time. With the federal stimulus, there are now tax breaks as well. These various options, including the ADDI program through the City of Cincinnati, are being used in Price Hill to provide incentives for purchase of homes. Discussion of the latest up to date options.
7/22/2009	"Receivership 101 + Future Possibilities" How to be successful at using this statute. Information will be passed out from the Ohio CDC Association about the possibility of legislation extending Receivership to commercial buildings. 9/9/2009	"Housing First, The Jimmy Heath House OTRCH Project" This project will provide Permanent Supportive Housing for chronically homeless people who need housing, but are not yet in recovery. The funding, programs and experiences in other cities of this cutting edge program will be discussed.
10/21/2009	"Shared Equity for Renters" The impressive and innovative program created and pioneered by Cornerstone for Shared Equity. Learn how the program works, what its results have been, and how it can be used to support tenants and improve communities. Discussion involves other uses for this concept commercially and in homeownership.
November, date TBA	"Community Created Funding Pool" Winton Place Development Corporation has pioneered an innovative approach with institutions, residents and alumni of Spring Grove Village. These groups and individuals are making low interest loans to the committee to support housing purchases and rehabilitation. Learn the nuts and bolts of how to create a program for communities.
December, date TBA	"Money is available for HUD 202 Senior Projects!" Presenters will talk about how communities can provide housing for neighbors who are older, need different housing, and don't want to leave the neighborhood.
